Hines and Young file for divorce

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Cheryl Hines and her husband, produce-manager Paul Young, have filed for divorce, the U.S. actress announced Monday.

The couple filed the documents to end their seven-year-marriage July 20.

"They will remain extremely close friends and will raise their daughter together," a statement issued by Hines's publicist said.

The actress is best known for her work on TV's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," as well as in the films "RV," "Waitress" and "Serious Moonlight."
