Cross-country drive on 2 gallons of gas


LOS ANGELES, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Actress Portia de Rossi has filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court to legally change her name to Portia DeGeneres, TMZ reported Monday.
De Rossi, who is best known for her roles on TV's "Ally McBeal" and "Arrested Development," married talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres in 2008.
TMZ said the papers the actress filed last Friday said, "Petitioner is taking the last name of her spouse."
