NEW YORK, July 19 (UPI) -- Cherry Jones and Sally Hawkins are set to headline the Broadway production of "Mrs. Warren's Profession," the Roundabout Theatre Company said Monday.

Directed by Doug Hughes, the cast of the classic George Bernard Shaw comedy includes Adam Driver, Mark Harelik, Edward Hibbert and Michael Siberry.

Previews are to begin Sept. 3, with an opening night planned for Oct. 3 at Manhattan's American Airlines Theatre.

"George Bernard Shaw's scorching tour de force 'Mrs. Warren's Profession' tells the story of Kitty Warren, a mother who makes a terrible sacrifice for her daughter Vivie's independence," a synopsis of the show said. "The clash of these two strong-willed but culturally constrained women is the spark that ignites the ironic wit of one of Shaw's greatest plays."
