NEW YORK, July 19 (UPI) -- Carly's bedroom is to be revealed for the first time on a new "iCarly" special, the U.S. television network Nickelodeon announced Monday.

Starring Miranda Cosgrove as Carly, "iGot a Hot Room" is set to air July 30.

On the series and in the special, Jennette McCurdy and Nathan Kress play Carly's best friends Sam and Freddie, while Jerry Trainor plays her older brother Spence.

The show is about a group of teens who star in a popular Web series they shoot in the living room of Carly and Spence's apartment.

"When a birthday gift from Spencer accidentally catches fire and destroys Carly's bedroom, Spence recruits the iCarly gang to help make her room into the coolest, most incredible new bedroom imaginable," said a synopsis of the special.

"After three years, fans finally get the chance to see Carly's bedroom and all of the incredible one-of-a-kind objects specially designed for her," Marjorie Cohn, president of original programming and development at Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group, said in a statement. "Getting a tricked-out bedroom as cool as Carly's is every teen's fantasy come true."

Immediately following "iGot a Hot Room," "iCarly" fans will have the opportunity to win the items from Carly's hot new bedroom at Nick.com/iCarly, Nickelodeon said.
