LOS ANGELES, July 6 (UPI) -- Jenna Fischer's publicist says the U.S. television actress has married screenwriter Lee Kirk.

Fischer is best known for her work on the U.S. version of the sitcom "The Office." Kirk's writing credits include "Pants on Fire" and "The Women."

The couple announced their engagement last summer.

"They were married on July 3 in front of family and friends in Malibu," her representative told People.com.

"Went to the most beautiful wedding I've ever experienced," Fischer's co-star Rainn Wilson said via Twitter during the weekend. "Total Love, Jenna Fischer & Lee Kirk!"
