Dad who drowned sons gets death penalty


LOS ANGELES, July 6 (UPI) -- Dean McDermott's publicist says the injured U.S. reality television personality was released from a California hospital Tuesday afternoon.
McDermott, 43, suffered a punctured and collapsed lung during a dirt-biking mishap last week and had been hospitalized since.
His representative confirmed his discharge to UsMagazine.com.
McDermott and his wife, actress Tori Spelling, star on TV's "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood."
The couple are the parents of two young children.
