Cross-country drive on 2 gallons of gas


LOS ANGELES, June 29 (UPI) -- CBS says it has ordered a new U.S. comedy series called "Mad Love" starring Jason Biggs, Sarah Chalke, Judy Greer and Tyler Labine.
The show about a quartet of single friends in New York City -- two who are falling in love and two who despise each other -- is expected to debut mid-season.
Biggs is best known for his work in the "American Pie" movies, Chalke starred in "Scrubs," Greer was part of the "Arrested Development" ensemble and Labine starred in "Reaper" and "Sons of Tucson."

Tropical Storm Beryl neared hurricane strength ahead of its expected landfall Sunday night on the Southeast Coast of the United States, U.S. forecasters said.
