NEW YORK, June 17 (UPI) -- America Ferrera's publicist has confirmed the U.S. actress is engaged to her longtime beau Ryan Piers Williams, People.com said.
Ferrera is best known for her work on TV's "Ugly Betty."
She and Williams met as students at the University of Southern California, the Web site said.
No other details regarding the proposal or an intended wedding date were reported.
