LOS ANGELES, June 15 (UPI) -- Tiffani Thiessen's publicist says the television actress gave birth Tuesday in Los Angeles to a daughter she named Harper Renn Smith.

The child is the first for Thiessen and her husband, artist and actor Brady Smith, who married in 2005.

Thiessen's representative confirmed the birth to People.com exclusively, adding Harper weighs 8 pounds, 3 ounces and is "doing great."

The actress is best known for her work on TV's "Saved by the Bell," "Beverly Hills 90210" and "White Collar."
