PHILADELPHIA, June 14 (UPI) -- A 59-year-old woman was charged with hitting reality TV personality Bam Margera in the head with a bat outside of a Pennsylvania nightclub, police said.
Best known for his appearances in the "Jackass" TV show and movies, Margera, 30, was treated at a hospital for his injuries and released, The Philadelphia Inquirer said.
Elizabeth Ray was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment, after the alleged incident early Saturday near the Note nightclub in West Chester, Pa., Margera's hometown.
Ray posted $10,000 bail and was released after her arraignment, the newspaper noted.
The owner of another local bar, Kildare's Irish Pub, told the Inquirer Ray had been upset about noise coming from the Note.
