The marathon will feature the TCM premiere of the 1951 documentary "This is Korea," directed by John Ford.

"At dawn on June 25, 1950, forces from the Korean People's Army crossed the 38th parallel and began attacking troops from the Republic of Korea Army, beginning what would become to be known as the Korean War," the cable television network said in a news release Thursday. "Now, 60 years later, as tensions between North Korea and South Korea continue to fester, Turner Classic Movies will commemorate the conflict with 24 hours of outstanding films."
