NEW YORK, June 11 (UPI) -- Wayne Knight, Huey Lewis, Susan Lucci, Carl Reiner and John Schneider have signed up as guest stars on the new sitcom "Hot in Cleveland," TV Land said.

Shirley Knight, Hal Linden, Juliet Mills and Amy Yasbeck are also confirmed to make appearances on the show.

The network's first original scripted series stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick as friends who realize they are regarded as more glamorous in Cleveland than their previous home of Los Angeles. Betty White plays the caretaker of the home they rent.

The show is scheduled to premiere Wednesday.

"TV Land is so excited about 'Hot in Cleveland,'" Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land, said in a statement. "Adding these celebrated personalities in the entertainment industry gives a different twist to every episode and only heightens our anticipation for this series."
