NEW YORK, June 4 (UPI) -- HBO says it is working on a documentary blending archival footage with U.S. actress and author Carrie Fisher's one-woman show "Wishful Drinking."
The Hollywood Reporter said the film will also feature interviews with Fisher's friends and family.
Best known for her iconic portrayal of Princess Leia in the original "Star Wars" movies, the 56-year-old actress is the daughter of screen star Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher.
"Wishful Drinking" chronicles her career highs and lows, as well as her battle with drugs and alcohol, and experiences growing up in a high-profile family, which included stepmother Elizabeth Taylor.
