NEW YORK, May 21 (UPI) -- Jimmy Fallon is to watch previously taped episodes of his own late-night U.S. chat show and interact with fans live online next week, NBC announced.

Fallon is scheduled to kick off "Watch Jimmy with Jimmy Week" Monday.

"We're always trying to stay ahead of the curve in how we interact with our audience. I'm thinking of this as a real-time interactive DVD commentary -- and it's going to be a ton of fun. I'm just hoping I can stay awake all week long," Fallon said in a statement Thursday.

Fallon is the first late-night talk-show host to participate in a shared viewing experience on Ustream, NBC said.

Through an exclusive partnership with Ustream, Fallon will be watching "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" in real time from his office each night next week.

Fans can go to www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com to interact with Fallon via a live chat and video stream where he will answer fans' questions and give them a unique, behind-the-scenes glimpse of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."
