WASHINGTON, May 20 (UPI) -- U.S. actress and author Valerie Bertinelli says she is engaged to businessman Tom Vitale, her boyfriend of six years.
"I've never felt more beautiful at any weight than when Tom looks at me. He loved me no matter what. In his way, he's teaching me to love myself just as I am," Bertinelli told AARP The Magazine for its July/August issue.
The 50 year-old former star of TV's "One Day at a Time" and recent Jenny Craig weight-loss spokeswoman will soon be seen on the new sitcom "Hot in Cleveland." She is the mother of an adult son with her ex-husband, rocker Eddie Van Halen.
