BURBANK, Calif., May 13 (UPI) -- ABC Family says its new U.S. scripted drama series "Huge," starring Nikki Blonsky and Hayley Hasselhoff, is to debut next month.
Co-starring Ashley Holiday, Harvey Guillen, Stephan Van Ray, Air Stidam, Raven Goodwin, Gina Torres and Zander Eckhouse, the one-hour relationship drama is based on Sasha Paley's Alloy Entertainment book of the same name.
It is being developed by producer Winnie Holzman and her daughter, Savannah Dooley, and is set to premiere June 28.
ABC Family describes the show as a "heartwarming drama that focuses on seven teens from different backgrounds attending a weight-loss camp as they embark on their individual journeys of self-discovery."
