LOS ANGELES, April 27 (UPI) -- Actor Jason Alexander was not cited after he allegedly hit a 14-year-old bicyclist with his car Tuesday morning, police in Los Angeles said.

Alexander is best known for his work on the iconic 1990s sitcom "Seinfeld."

The Los Angeles Times said the actor struck the teen, who was on his way to middle school.

The unidentified boy was taken to a hospital and was listed in stable condition. The nature of his injuries was not reported.

Police told the Times they were investigating the incident but have not cited Alexander.
