LOS ANGELES, April 1 (UPI) -- New Zealand-born actress Anna Paquin reveals she is bisexual in a public service announcement for the Give a Damn Campaign.
Ads in the campaign feature celebrities promoting equality.
Paquin, 27, won an Oscar as a child for her work in "The Piano." She later starred in the "X-Men" trilogy and now appears on HBO's "True Blood." She is engaged to Stephen Moyer, her co-star on the show.
"I'm Anna Paquin. I'm bisexual and I give a damn," People.com quoted Paquin as saying in the announcement, which is part of a campaign scheduled to start Thursday.
Sources told the Web site they were unaware beforehand that Paquin would make the announcement.
