LOS ANGELES, March 17 (UPI) -- Writer-actor-producer Larry David says he is "leaning" towards signing on for an eighth season of his U.S. comedy series "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

"I'm leaning towards it, so I would say there's a good chance," series creator and star Larry David told TVGuide.com.

David, who plays an exaggerated version of himself on "Curb," later told the crowd at the Paley Festival Sunday in Beverly Hills, Calif., that an eighth season of the show is "not definite yet, but we're working on it."

The series co-stars Cheryl Hines and Jeff Garlin.
