NEW YORK, March 14 (UPI) -- Actress/singer Vanessa Williams says it has been "seamless" juggling her starring roles in ABC's "Ugly Betty" and Broadway's "Sondheim on Sondheim."

The Tony-nominated actress hits the boards Friday at Studio 54 in the show honoring Sondheim, who celebrates his 80th birthday March 22, the New York Daily News said Sunday.

Williams, 46, said organization has been key to juggling the television and Broadway productions.

"I'm very organized," she told the Daily News. "The bottom line is that everyone's been completely understanding and accommodating, and it's been seamless going back and forth between the two shows."

As for returning to the small stage, the former star of Sondheim's "Into the Woods" said: "It's great to be back home."

Williams told the Daily News she will miss playing fashionista Wilhelmina Slater when "Ugly Betty" ends its run.

"I don't want to let it go," she said. "We still haven't recovered from the news (of the show's cancellation.)"
