NEW YORK, March 12 (UPI) -- Former teen idols Jason Priestly, Kirk Cameron and Ralph Macchio are to serve as guest co-hosts of the U.S. morning television program "Today," NBC said.

The guys are expected to join Hoda Kotb on the show next week.

Priestly, best known for his work on "Beverly Hills, 90210," is to appear on the program Monday; "Growing Pains" star Cameron on Tuesday; Cameron's "Growing Pains" dad Alan Thicke on Wednesday; "The Karate Kid" icon Macchio Thursday; and "Melrose Place" hottie Andrew Shue on Friday.

"Each gorgeous guy will share hosting responsibilities with Hoda and participate in news-of-the-day discussions, celebrity interviews, and great 'Today' show segments," NBC said in a news release Thursday.
