NEW YORK, March 11 (UPI) -- A 21-year-old Apple store employee told police in New York television star Richard Belzer grabbed her and shook her by the shoulders.

The New York Daily News said Milan Agnew called 911 and reported the incident as an assault.

Agnew alleged the 65-year-old comedian manhandled her, while yelling,"I need help!" at Agnew's Manhattan workplace Wednesday.

Police spoke to the "Law & Order" actor and declined to charge Belzer with a crime after he said he was merely joking around with Agnew, the Daily News said.

However, Agnew's grandmother told the newspaper the young woman is upset because Belzer wasn't arrested.

"She told me, 'Nana, he didn't just touch me, he choked me and really scared me,'" Anita McKnight said.

"My granddaughter is petite, just 5-feet-2 and she's a dancer so she doesn't have much body to her. Where does this man come off putting his hands on her?"

The Daily News said it was unable to reach Belzer for a comment regarding the incident.
