NEW YORK, March 10 (UPI) -- Jewel Staite and Sean Maher have signed up to guest star on the television series "Warehouse 13," which is shooting its second season in Toronto, Syfy said.

Staite is best known for her work on TV's "Firefly" and Maher for his role on "Party of Five." They are expected to appear in an episode of "Warehouse 13's" upcoming season.

The show stars Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Saul Rubinek, Allison Scagliotti and CCH Pounder. The dramedy is about two Secret Service agents who find themselves abruptly transferred to a massive, top-secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota that houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and supernatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government.

Season 2 of the show is expected to debut July 13.
