This year's Oscars show beat out the other presentations of the 2009-10 awards season. About 13.5 million people tuned in for the 2009 Emmy Awards in September, while 17 million watched the 2010 Golden Globe Awards in January and 25.9 million caught the 2010 Grammy Awards last month, ABC said.
