Spike TV orders more 'Blue Mountain'

NEW YORK, March 1 (UPI) -- The U.S. network Spike TV says it has picked up a second season of its first original scripted comedy series, "Blue Mountain State."

Kevin Kay, Spike TV's president, said the second season will include 13 episodes.

The show follows "the on- and off-field antics of incoming freshmen as they learn to adapt to life at the fictional college football powerhouse Blue Mountain State," the network said in a news release.

It stars Romanski, Ed Marinaro, Darin Brooks, Alan Ritchson and Gabrielle Dennis.
