LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Lorenzo Lamas's 24-year-old daughter says the U.S. actor plans to make his 23-year-old girlfriend his fifth wife.

Shayne Lamas, who competed on TV's "The Bachelor," told UsMagazine.com her 52-year-old dad proposed to Shawna Craig Sunday.

"My father is engaged and is over the moon in love!" Shayne Lamas said. "As long as my family is happy, healthy and getting along they will always have my blessing. Congrats Dad!"

A separate source told UsMagazine.com Lamas and Craig have been dating for about three months.

Lamas, a father of six, is best known for his work in the film "Grease" and in the TV shows "Falcon Crest," "Renegade," "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "Leave It to the Lamas."
