Dad who drowned sons gets death penalty

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Singer Sheryl Crow is set to appear in multiple episodes of the U.S. TV comedy "Cougar Town," sources told Entertainment Weekly.
EW.com reported Friday that sources hinted Crow, 47, will not play herself on the ABC sitcom, instead playing the new girlfriend of character Grayson, played by actor Josh Hopkins.
The first of the "Cougar" episodes featuring Crow will air in March, the unidentified sources added.
Entertainment Weekly said Crow's previous acting stints included parts in the 1999 film "The Minus Man" and a single episode of the TV sitcom "30 Rock" in which the singer played herself.
