LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Matthew Fox says he has no plans to return to television after the sixth and final season of "Lost" ends.

Fox, 43, starred in the 1990s family drama "Party of Five" for six seasons before heading up the cast of the supernatural series "Lost" in 2004. The last season of that show is to premiere Tuesday night and is expected to wrap up in May.

"I won't be doing any more television," the married father of two children told UsMagazine.com.

"I've done two six-year shows, about 300 hours of television," he added. "I'm done with that ... I'm either going to make movies with filmmakers I want to work with or I'll be doing something else entirely."

Fox also said he, his wife and kids will move back to Oregon from Hawaii after "Lost" is over.

"Being in Hawaii and working here has been an incredible, fantastic experience," he said. "Hawaii and 'Lost' has been a great thing for me."

That said, the actor also noted he will be happy to once again experience the "four seasons climate" and proximity of extended family his return to the Pacific Northwest will afford.
