HUNTINGTON, W.Va., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Comedian Andy Dick, who was arrested Saturday for alleged sex abuse, has been released from a West Virginia jail after posting $60,000 bail, officials said.

Dick reportedly was accused of grabbing a security guard's crotch at Rum Runners in Huntington, then trying to kiss a male bar patron against his will.

Tom Schaeffer -- the manager of Funny Bone, the comedy club where Dick had performed Friday night -- told EW.com he secured Dick's bail and the Cabell County Magistrate Court confirmed Dick was arraigned Saturday afternoon.

He is due back in court Feb. 2, EW.com said.

In recent years, Dick, 44, best known for his roles on the TV sit-coms "NewsRadio" and "Less Than Perfect," has seen his career eclipsed by reports of erratic behavior and substance abuse.

He is on probation for sexual battery, a charge he pleaded guilty to in a 2008 incident in which he pulled down a teenager's shirt outside a California restaurant.
