LOS ANGELES, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- U.S. singer and actress Jill Scott is to headline the television movie "Sins of the Mother," Lifetime announced Wednesday.
The network described the picture as "a touching story about the harsh realities of love, forgiveness and the closest of bonds between mother and daughter."
Based on author Carleen Brice's novel "Orange Mint and Honey," the TV movie will co-star Nicole Beharie and Mimi Rogers.
It is to debut Feb. 21 on Lifetime Movie Network.
