LOS ANGELES, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- CBS says it has renewed "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "The Good Wife" for a second season.

The dramas, which debuted last fall, are set to return for the 2010-2011 broadcast season, the network said Friday.

"Two great new series, fronted by talented stars on one big night of television," Nina Tassler, president of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement. "We're proud of these shows and what they've accomplished on Tuesday night."
