Regis Philbin headed back to work

NEW YORK, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Regis Philbin is heading back to work as co-host of TV's "Live with Regis and Kelly" in New York after undergoing hip-replacement surgery.

TVGuide.com said the star is due back on the air Monday.

Philbin, 78, had the operation last month and has been recuperating.

Amy Adams, Gabourey Sidibe, Tim Allen and Chris Meloni are scheduled to be guests on the morning talk show during Philbin's first week back, TVGuide.com said.
