EUGENE, Ore., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Police in Eugene, Ore., said they are searching for Joshua Tel Warner, a deckhand who appeared on "Deadliest Catch," in connection with three bank robberies.
Eugene police said Warner, 23, is wanted in connection with the robbery of a local Washington Mutual bank branch on Oct. 19, 2007, as well as two bank robberies at a Pacific Continental bank branches on April 3 and August 28, The (Portland) Oregonian said Thursday.
It was not released how Warner was involved in those crimes.
Police are attempting to obtain an arrest warrant for another man who allegedly took part in the August robbery with Warner. That man's identity was not released.
Warner appeared as a "green horn" deckhand on "Deadliest Catch" during the TV series' 2008-2009 season and was known for his confrontations with his fellow crew members, The Oregonian said.
Authorities suspect Warner may have fled to Canada, Mexico or the East Coast.
