NEW YORK, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- The U.S. cable television network Comedy Central says it has no plans to renew "The Jeff Dunham Show" for a second season.
The Hollywood Reporter said the stand-up comedian and ventriloquist's show gave the network its biggest premiere ratings ever, however, viewership dropped after the first episode aired.
"We have no plans to renew the series at this time," a Comedy Central representative told the entertainment industry trade newspaper.
Dunham reportedly will still star in a special for the network next fall.
