NEW YORK, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- A lawyer for Jon Gosselin's ex-girlfriend says Hailey Glassman had nothing to do with the alleged ransacking of the reality TV personality's New York home.

Gosselin's attorney said the Manhattan apartment of the former "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star was trashed, some of his possessions taken and a note supposedly signed by Glassman left at the scene.

However, Glassman's lawyer, Anand Ahuja, denied to People magazine that her client did anything wrong.

"Somebody is trying to frame my client," Ahuja said. "My client had nothing to do with this ... As far as she is concerned, it's a hoax."

"I don't know anything about any note and I can't confirm it at this time," Glassman's other attorney, Stephanie Ovadia, told the magazine. "This appears to be a publicity stunt."

The alleged incident reportedly is under investigation.
