ATLANTA, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- International Greetings USA, a designer and manufacturer of gift wrap and stationery, says it has struck a licensing agreement with celebrity chef Paula Deen.

The pact involves introducing to the market an extensive collection of paper-based products including stationery, recipe cards, organizers, boxes and food containers, the company said.

"I am looking forward to working with International Greetings in designing my signature paper products," Deen said in a statement. "I am confident that their reputation for quality and creative goods will result in great products at a good value."

"We are proud to partner with Paula Deen and her team and look forward to introducing into the marketplace exciting new designs and products under the Paula Deen brand," International Greetings USA President Lawrence Louis said.

Products are expected to be available in May in more than 1,000 Michaels arts and crafts stores and discussions are being held with other major U.S. retailers, the announcement said.
