NEW YORK, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Aspiring model Levi Johnston, father of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's grandson, said he is interested in being a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars."
Johnston, whose Playgirl pictorial is scheduled to hit U.S. newsstands in January, said if he were asked to be a contestant on the popular ABC TV series, he would likely accept the invitation, the New York Daily News reported Friday.
"I think if my phone were to ring right now, I would probably say yes," Johnston, 19, said following the "Dancing" season finale on Tuesday.
Johnston, who had a child with Palin's daughter Bristol prior to the couple's split, said his time as a hockey player would likely prove beneficial on the series.
"I mean, I'm pretty athletic so I think I could do just about anything," he said.
The Daily News said in addition to his not-completely-nude photo spread in Playgirl, Johnston has been photographed for magazines like Vanity Fair and GQ.
