LOS ANGELES, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Donny Osmond and his professional dance partner won the coveted mirrorball trophy on Tuesday's Season 9 finale of "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles.

The 51-year-old entertainer and Kym Johnson beat out reality television personality Kelly Osbourne and singer Mya and their professional dance partners for the honor.

Osmond hugged Johnson and runner-up Mya and then held his prize aloft and ran into the audience to bring his sister Marie on stage to celebrate. Marie Osmond was a past "DWTS" contestant.
