NEW YORK, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Bruce Greenwood, Jimmy Smits, Christine Lahti and Michael McKean have been added to the lineup of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, CBS said.

The network is to air the 83rd edition of the holiday event Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon EST.

The stars are expected to drop by to chat with anchors Maggie Rodriguez and Dave Price from CBS News's "The Early Show," the network said in a news release Monday.

The program will also feature performances by country music artist Reba McEntire, and the Broadway casts of "West Side Story" and "Ragtime," as well as the off-Broadway ensemble of "Dreamgirls."

Actor and comedian Jamie Kennedy has also been tapped to offer a "Man on the Street" viewpoint as he reports and interacts with the crowd.
