LONDON, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- David Suchet and Barbara Hershey are set to star in a new British TV adaption of Agatha Christie's mystery novel "Murder on the Orient Express," the BBC said.

Suchet will reprise his role of Christie protagonist Hercule Poirot, a Belgian detective he has played on television for 21 years.

"Express" producer Karen Thrussell described the 1934 book as the "most ingenious and best loved Agatha Christie title of all time."

The film is expected to be shot on location in London and Malta, the BBC reported.

ITV has not said when it plans to air the movie, which will co-star Eileen Atkins, Samuel West and Hugh Bonneville.
