Stars line up for CNN's 'Heroes' show

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Carrie Underwood and Leona Lewis have agreed to perform at the third annual "CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute" show in Los Angeles, the network said Monday.

The event, to be presided over by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, honors everyday citizens who are making a difference in their communities and beyond. CNN said.

The ceremony is to take place at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood and is to air globally Nov. 26 on CNN/U.S., CNN International and CNN en Espanol.

Celebrities scheduled to be presenters at the ceremony include Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Neil Patrick Harris, Pierce Brosnan, Dwayne Johnson, Eva Mendes, Randy Jackson and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Additional appearances are expected to be announced in days to come, CNN said.
