LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Katherine Heigl is to take a break from taping "Grey's Anatomy" to spend more time with the baby girl she and her husband recently adopted.
TVGuide.com said it has confirmed Heigl is planning to temporarily leave the medical drama to be with her husband, singer Josh Kelley, and their daughter, Naleigh.
Her character, Izzie, had just returned to the show Thursday after a three-episode hiatus Heigl took so she could shoot a movie.
Representatives for the series declined to tell the magazine how her character will briefly be written off the show.
