Ashley Jensen gives birth to a son

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Ashley Jensen's publicist has confirmed the Scottish television actress gave birth to a son she named Francis Jonathan Beesley.

The 40-year-old actress' representative confirmed the Oct. 20 birth to People.com Wednesday.

The child, known as Frankie Jack, is Jensen's first with her husband, stage actor Terence Beesley. The couple married in 2007 after seven years of dating.

People.com said mother and son are home from the hospital and doing well.

Jensen is best known for her work on TV's "Accidentally on Purpose" and "Extras."
