LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Simon Cowell is the top-earning male star on U.S. prime-time television, Forbes.com reported.
The "American Idol" judge and producer earned $75 million between June 1, 2008, and June 1, 2009, the magazine said on its Web site.
Coming in at No. 2 is Donald Trump, a real-estate mogul and reality show host who earned an estimated $50 million from his entertainment ventures during the same time period.
"American Idol" and E! News host Ryan Seacrest is No. 3 on the list with $38 million, followed by "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen at No. 4 with $21 million and "The Office" lead Steve Carell at No. 5 with $20 million.
Rounding out the top tier are "Deal or No Deal" host Howie Mandel at No. 6 with $15 million, "24" star Kiefer Sutherland at No. 7 with $13 million, "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" host Jeff Foxworthy at No. 8 with $11 million and "House" lead Hugh Laurie at No. 9 with $10 million.
"CSI: Miami" star David Caruso and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Patrick Dempsey are tied for the No. 10 spot with $9 million, Forbes.com said.
