'Lost,' 'House' get People's Choice nods

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- "CSI," "Grey's Anatomy," "House," "Lost" and "NCIS" were nominated for favorite TV drama when People's Choice Award nods were announced in Los Angeles Tuesday.

In the running for favorite TV comedy are "Desperate Housewives," "How I Met Your Mother," "The Big Bang Theory," "The Office" and "Two and a Half Men."

The nominees for favorite TV drama actor are Hugh Laurie, Kiefer Sutherland, Mark Harmon, Matthew Fox and Patrick Dempsey.

Vying for favorite TV drama actress are Anna Paquin, Blake Lively, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Katherine Heigl and Mariska Hargitay.

Shortlisted in the TV comedy actor category are Alec Baldwin, Charlie Sheen, Jim Parsons, Neil Patrick Harris and Steve Carell.

Nominated for the TV comedy actress gong are Alyson Hannigan, America Ferrera, Amy Poehler, Eva Longoria Parker and Tina Fey.

Up for favorite TV obsession are "Dexter," "Gossip Girl," "The Hills," "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and "True Blood."

The nominees for favorite talk show are "Chelsea Lately," "Live with Regis & Kelly," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and "The Tyra Banks Show."

The 2010 People's Choice Awards are to be handed out at a ceremony on Jan. 6 at the Nokia Theater, L.A. Live in Los Angeles. Queen Latifah is to serve as host of the event.
