Taylor Swift to open CMA show

NASHVILLE, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Taylor Swift has signed on to deliver the opening performance at the 43rd annual CMA Awards presentation in Nashville, ABC announced Monday.

She is also expected to give a second, acoustic performance later in Wednesday's show at the Sommet Center. It is to be broadcast live on ABC with Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood serving as hosts for the event. They will perform on the show, as well, the network said.

The lineup of performers for the night includes Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney and Dave Mathews, Billy Currington, Vince Gill and Daughtry, Kid Rock and Jamey Johnson, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Darius Rucker, George Strait, Sugarland, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band.
