NEW YORK, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Meb Keflezighi, the first U.S. man to win the New York City Marathon since 1982, is to appear on "Late Show with David Letterman," CBS announced Monday.

Keflezighi, the 2004 Olympic marathon silver medalist, is to present the Top 10 List on the broadcast airing Monday night.

Keflezighi "took the men's title in (Sunday's) prestigious race in 2 hours, 9 minutes and 15 seconds, capturing his first major marathon title and ending a 27-year drought for the United States in the event," CBS noted.

Also set to visit the "Late Show" Monday are Emmy Award-winning actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, star of the CBS comedy series "The New Adventures of Old Christine;" chef Guy Fieri; and country music superstar Carrie Underwood, the network said.
