

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Actor Edward Norton has signed up to guest star on the U.S. comedy series "Modern Family," ABC announced Monday.
Norton is best known for his roles in the films "Primal Fear," "Fight Club," "American History X" and "The Incredible Hulk."
"With a history of giving bad gifts, Claire is determined to surprise Phil with an amazing anniversary present -- a private performance by one of their favorite musicians, Izzy LaFontaine! However, it turns out to be a surprise in more ways than one." ABC said in a news release.
Norton is to play Izzy and Elizabeth Banks from "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "W.," "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" and "Role Models," is to play Sal.
They will appear in the episode to air Nov. 18, the network said.
Julie Bowen plays Claire, Ty Burrell plays Phil, Jesse Tyler Ferguson plays Mitchell Pritchett and Eric Stonestreet plays Cameron.
