NEW YORK, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- U.S. reality television personality Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman aren't dating right now, a source told TV's "Extra."
"They're taking a break," a source told "Extra" Friday. "(Jon) apparently decided he needed to spend some time on his own."
The couple reportedly had started seeing each other in June.
Gosselin and his wife Kate announced during the summer they planned to divorce after nearly 10 years of marriage. The Gosselins and their eight children are the stars of the reality television program "Jon & Kate Plus 8." Production on the show has been suspended since Jon complained the taping is detrimental to his children after he learned TLC wanted to diminish his role on the show. The network, which airs the series, is now suing Jon for breach of contract.
As the family has been the focus of additional media attention in recent months, Jon has sought the counsel of Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, a celebrity adviser, to help him cope with the scrutiny.
