LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Corey Feldman's publicist said the U.S. actor is saddened his wife, Susie, is divorcing him after seven years of marriage.
The couple, who are the parents of a 5-year-old son named Zen, were married by minister and rapper MC Hammer, and by a rabbi, in a 2002 episode of the reality TV show, "The Surreal Life."
The Feldmans later co-starred on the reality program, "The Two Coreys," along with Feldman's former best friend, actor Corey Haim.
Susie reportedly filed for divorce Oct. 22, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause for the split.
"Corey is deeply hurt and saddened by this unexpected change in their relationship, and has done nothing to contribute to the demise of the marriage," Feldman's representative said in a statement issued to People.com. "(Feldman is) hopeful that he and Susie can work to resolve this quickly and amicably, and he is fully committed to doing what is best for the welfare of their son."
